Dollar Dinners

We will be hosting a weekly Lenten potluck dinner and invite everyone to join us for a time of fellowship at 6 p.m. on five Wednesdays beginning March 12th as we journey towards Easter. Each week, a main dish and beverages will be provided. 

•  Each week, a main dish and beverages will be provided. We ask everyone to bring a side dish or a dessert to share, and an offering of one dollar per person. We would appreciate it if you could bring your own table service, but if you forget we will have disposable plates and silverware available. Dishes to share can be as simple as a package of dinner rolls or a bag of potato chips. If you are having a busy day and don't have time to prepare anything, come anyway because there is always plenty to eat!
• The narthex bulletin board has a sign-up sheet that lists the main dish for each week. Anyone can attend regardless of church membership, so feel free to reach out to neighbors, friends, and family, but please try to remember to sign up ahead of time so we know how many places to set and how much food to prepare.

Bible Study

This year, we will study The Walk, written by Adam Hamilton, best-selling author and senior pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection. The bible study will be held immediately after Lenten Potluck Dollar Dinners on five Wednesdays, starting March 12th. The cost of the book is $13. The sign-up on the Narthex bulletin board by February 23rd so we know how many books to order.
