Bethany of Fox Valley UMC will hold a special Charge Conference on April 27 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the conference is to discuss the terms of our new mortgage on the church building. Since we are in a state of emergency, the District Superintendent is allowing Pastor Sam, as the presiding elder, to lead the Charge Conference. The coronavirus is impacting our lives in every way from school, store, and library closings to social distancing, the new phrase of the year. In light of the CDC guidelines and in the best interests of the congregation, Bethany of Fox Valley will be closed through the end of March, and there will be no in-person worship services at the church on March 22nd and 29th. Youth Mission Trip thru Reach Mission Trips is set for June 21 to 27, 2020. The mission crew will do mission work in Gettysburg, PA. This summer mission trip is designed to help youth ministry succeed focusing on significant home repairs, building Godly relationships and Jesus centered programs. Great Agers will meet on Friday February 14 to celebrate Valentine's Day with salads and sundaes. Bring a sensible salad or other light dish to share for a potluck lunch. This year’s annual Winter Warming gathering will be held at Community United Methodist Church in Naperville (20 North Center Street, Naperville) on Saturday, January 18 beginning at 9:30 am. The Winter Warming gathering is for people who believe ALL means ALL in the UMC. Registration is available online at www.nicreconciling.org and click on the Winter Warming tab. Great Agers will meet for a potluck lunch and a time of fellowship on January 10. Bring your own table service and a dish to pass. The main dish and beverage will be provided. Do you enjoy the sounds of music in Bethany’s sanctuary on a Sunday morning? You can be part of that! It’s easy and you don’t need to be able to read music to join any of our musical groups!

As of August 22, 2019, the NEW parking lot is completed! The church building will be officially opened on Saturday, August 24 in the early morning.

This parking lot is so much more than concrete and tar. For the church, it is a visible blessing from God how God leads the congregation into a comeback.
