Announcements

1. DINNER WORSHIP
Dinner worship resumes next Sunday, November 13th. If you are willing to prepare dinner, set the table together, or for more details, please visit bfvumc.org/dinner. Would you be willing to serve on the worship committee, helping us organize and prioritize the work relating to the formal and dinner worship? Please let Pr. Sam know how you plan to be involved. A response would be appreciated by Nov. 13, 2022.

2. HANGING OF THE GREENS & CHILI CHALLENGE DINNER WORSHIP
Save The Date! Does your chili have what it takes to tingle the taste buds of Bethany members and win you the coveted honor of Bethany’s Best Chili? There is only one way to find out. Make a big old pot and bring it to the Hanging of the Greens on Sunday, November 20. After decking the halls from 4 to 5, everyone will set down the garland and pick up their spoons at 5 p.m. to decide who will be declared this year's chili champion. There will be hotdogs, chips, and desserts as well as lots of chili so make plans to attend. Sign up in the narthex if you are bringing a pot of chili or simply plan to attend as a chili connoisseur so we are sure to have enough spoons and bowls for all.

3. DORCAS CIRCLE
The next Dorcas Circle meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 16th at 1pm. We will meet in the Narthex. At this meeting we will be planning for our annual holiday outreach to BFVUMC shut ins.
Please join us for some light refreshment, grace and fellowship.

4. NOVEMBER YOUTH GROUP EVENT

5. CHANCEL CHOIR
Chancel choir will meet on November 9th for rehearsal at 6:30 pm, and will sing on November 13th, 2022

6. ANNUAL CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA SALE
Let's fill out sanctuary with the beauty of Poinsettias this Christmas!
Please consider ordering one or more for beautifying the sanctuary. The plants may be picked up after Christmas Eve service for your family to enjoy. 6" Poinsettias are available in red or white for $13 each.
Order forms are available in the Narthex. You may indicate if the plants you order are "In Honor of" and/or "In Memory of" a particular person. Please make checks payable to "Bethany of Fox Valley UMC". Orders must be received today.
