Announcements

1. ALTAR FLOWERS- Mary Wolf has provided the beautiful altar flowers this morning in loving remembrance of the birthday of her husband, Bob Wolf.

2. ALDERSGATE SUNDAY- Aldersgate Day is celebrated on May 24th to commemorate the day in 1738 when John Wesley experienced assurance of his salvation.  Wesley reluctantly attended a group meeting that evening on Aldersgate Street in London.  As he heard a reading from Luther's Preface to the Epistle to the Romans, he felt his "heart strangely warmed."  

3. JUNE AND JULY VOLUNTEERS- 
•    The worship service volunteer schedule has been emailed and posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. Please let the church office know if you will be unavailable on your assigned date(s).
•    There is also the sign-up sheet for making coffee and/or providing treats for fellowship after worship service. More volunteers would
      be greatly appreciated!

4. HOPE UCC BLOOD DRIVE- Hope UCC is hosting their annual blood drive on May 31st from 9am to 1pm. Please see the signs on the narthex bulletin board for more information on how to participate.

5.  VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL- Be a part of this year's VBS Rainforest Falls: Exploring the Nature of God June 15-19, from 9am to 12:30pm, for youth ages 6-12 years old. Flyers are available in the narthex, so spread the word. Registration is now live. Visit https://vbspro.events/p/ae01e5  Cost is $25 per child/$50 per family.
